HLE Processes
HLE Processes is a browser tool our employees use to record how an internal task is done, so the written procedure can be kept accurate. It is not offered to the public and does not function without an HLE Drones staff account.
When it collects anything. Only while an employee has deliberately started a recording, and only until they end it. The component that observes activity is installed when a recording starts and removed when it stops.
What it collects during a recording. The clicks, typing, menu selections and key presses made in the browser; the visible label of the control used; the address and title of the pages visited; screenshots of the tab; and audio from the microphone, which is the employee narrating the task.
What it never collects. The contents of password, card number, security code and one-time code fields. These are identified by their type, autocomplete attribute and visible label, and the recording notes that the field was filled in without recording what was entered. This happens in the browser, so the value is never transmitted.
Where it goes. To our own systems, stored against the account of the employee who made the recording and visible to HLE Drones staff.
We do not sell this information, share it outside the company, or use it for advertising, credit assessment or lending. The tool contains no analytics or tracking.
Retention. Recordings are kept while the procedure they produced is in use. An employee can delete their own recording before it is published. Published procedures are kept as company records until archived.
Choices. Site access is requested once, from the tool itself, and can be withdrawn at any time in the browser's settings. Removing the tool ends all collection.
